The Atika vines were planted in 2001. Significant vine age, has enabled the vines to produce exceptional quality fruit with wonderful complexity and structure.

The Atika vineyard is gently sloped and is therefore well drained.  Drip irrigation is used when necessary to maintain premium fruit production and avoid excessive vine stress.

Every vine is individually considered with respect to the number of buds, bunches and shoot thinning desired in order to produce the best canopy and fruit possible.

Harvest typically commences in early to mid March, depending on the season, and the vines are tended and harvested by hand.
